Chapter 126

A scowl formed on Hannah's face as she locked eyes with Vincent."Why are you here?" she demanded.

Vincent didn't answer and strode to Issac, his voice icy as he asked, "What did he do to you?"

Seeing Vincent looming above him, Issac shrank into the couch cushions. His shirt hung in tatters, rumpled and stretched out of shape. There was no doubt Hannah was the one who'd done something to him. Still, he didn't dare say a word.

"That's none of your concern," Hannah replied, her voice cold and clipped.

Before she could say anything else, Felix charged into the room with a swarm of reporters at his heels.

Hannah had laid out the plan for Felix in detail-bring the media here and let Edward Stanley, Issac's father, witness firsthand the chaos his precious son had created once again.

As the reporters barged in, Issac froze up, unable to move. Hannah calmly stepped to the side, clearing a path for them.

Whatever headlines tomorrow brought didn't matter to her. What truly mattered was that Edward would be furious, and this time, there'd be no hiding the scandal.

Felix spotted her in the chaos and wasted no time ushering her toward the door.

Vincent, meanwhile, stood motionless, his glare never leaving the two as they made their way out. From the moment Felix entered, Hannah hadn't looked at him once.

With Vincent standing so close to Issac, the reporters quickly swung their cameras in his direction. However, one warning glare from Vincent made them falter-the intensity in his eyes was enough to send a chill through the room.

They immediately shifted their attention back to Issac.

Expression dark,Vincent landed a sharp kick to Issac's leg and then sormed out without another word.

Once outside, Felix eyed Hannah, ready to check if she was hurt, but he hesitated and drew his hand back.Instead, his voice was gentle as he asked, "You alright?"

"I'm alright," Hannah said, waving off his concern. "Didn't expect you to get the reporters here so quickly."

"You're insane, you know that? Facing Issac alone like that..." Felix had spent the entire time nervously pacing back and forth outside the room. More than once, he'd nearly burst through the door, but his task of guiding the reporters inside the room kept him in check. Luckily, things hadn't spiraled out of control.

"I've had enough of Issac. Figured it was time he learned a lesson," Hannah replied with a careless shrug. After everything Issac had pulled, harassing her twice, treating her like an easy mark, she'd finally snapped.

"Let's get back to the lounge," she added, motioning for Felix to follow as she turned to leave.

Just as she was about to step forward, Felix stopped her, his eyes flickering toward Vincent nearby."Wai there's something on your lip," he murmured, concern slipping into his voice.

Felix reached out, one hand gently on her shoulder, the other inching toward her face. He leaned in a little, angling his head as if trying to get a better look in the dim light.

Hannah didn't think much of it-maybe the lighting was dim and he needed to get closer to see.

From a distance, it looked for all the world like he was about to kiss her.

A frosty voice shattered the moment. "What do you think you're doing?"

Before Hannah could process what was happening, Vincent closed the gap in a flash. He pulled Felix back and, without warning, delivered a hard punch right to his jaw.

Hannah's temnper flared. "Have you lost your mind?" She darted to Felix's side, kneeling beside him as blood trickled from his mouth-Vincent hadn't pulled his punch.

Vincent shot her a look, his eyes clouded with something dark. "So that hurt you more than him, huh?"

"I can't even stand to look at you right now. Get out of my sight!" She gave him a hard shove.

Something twisted sharply in Vincent's chest as he realized just how fiercely she was standing up for Felix.

Felix dabbed at the blood on his lip, his voice steady as he spoke. "Don't worry about me. After dealing with Mr. Jones for days, I've learned to expect the unexpected."

Vincent's words came out tight with fury. "Didn't I tell you to stay away from her?"

Vincent was livid. Despite the warning, Felix had crossed that line. He'd gotten close to Hannah and made her pregnant with his child. And then she lost the baby. Compared to what Felix dleserved, a single punch was barely anything.

Felix ignored Vincent. Instead, he glanced at Hannah, his tone softening.′′My lip's stinging a bit. Could you help me clean it up?"

Concern flickered across Hannah's face. "Of course."

That sight made Vincent's expression cloud over even more.

She reached for Felix, trying to guide him past Vincent, but Vincent stepped in front of her, blocking her way.

"You're not leaving," Vincent said, his voice rough but his gaze focused on Felix. his voice rough but his gaze focused on Felix.

"That's not your call. Our marriage is over," she replied, her words cool and determined.

"We're not done yet," Vincent shot back, a bitter laugh slipping out.′′On paper, you're still my wife."

"The divorce agreement is signed," Hannah retorted, her tone turning glacial. "There's nothing left between us."

Vincent only stared at her, stubbornly holding his ground in the narrow hallway.

Hannah fixed Vincent with a glare. "Get out of my way." Then, she let go of Felix's hand and stepped forward, determined to push Vincent aside.

Vincent's hand shot out, gripping her wrist."No."

Finding no way to escape his grip, she suddenly ducked her head and sank her teeth into his wrist, biting down with all her strength.
