Chapter 465

The compensation amount was staggering, far beyond industry norms-almost unthinkable.

Judie, listening nearby, caught her breath sharply.

A flicker of surprise crossed Hannah's eyes, but she swiftly masked it with her usual calm. She met Vincent's gaze, her tone steady. "Mr. Jones, you're quite generous."

Vincent seemed to miss the subtle undercurrent in her words. He reached for the serving spoon and deftly placed a piece of fish on Hannah's plate. "Try the fish. I remember it's your favorite," he said with quiet sincerity.

Hannah looked up, a complex emotion flickering in her eyes. "You still remember that?"

Vincent's gaze held hers, unwavering and intense. "Yeah. I have ordered your favorite dishes beforehand, including your beloved crab soup."

Judie felt the air grow heavy, barely daring to breathe.

Hannah stared at the fish on her plate and then at Vincent's piercing, earnest eyes, a wave of unspoken feelings rising within her. After a moment's pause, she spoke softly. "You don't have to do this."

Vincent's resolve didn't waver. "But I want to."

A fragile, weighty silence settled over the room.

Just then, Judie's phone lit up on the table. A new message appeared. "Are you Judie Green? I heard you're the lead on Celestial Voyage. I'mn the head of Aurora Court Studio. Can we meet to discuss the plagiarism issue?"

Judie passed the phone to Hannah. "Ms. Scott, look! Aurora Court Studio's lead reached out to me!"

Hannah took the phone and scanned the message. She tilted the screen toward Vincent across the table."Mr. Jones, your Aurora Court Studio head moves fast. The plagiarism issue is still unresolved, yet she's

eager to meet my project lead. She's clearly up to something. What do you think she wants with Judie at a time like this?"

Vincent glanced at the screen, his expression steady. He lifted his coffee cup, took a slow sip, and said evenly, "I don't care about her."

Hannah raised a brow, her tone teasing. "Oh? Not even a little curious, Mr. Jones? She's parading around with a face strikingly similar to mine. If she pulls something that tarnishes the Jones Group's reputation, you still wouldn't care?"

Vincent set down his cup, a faint, amused glint in his eyes as he studied Hannah. "It seems you're quite interested."

Hannah didn't deny it. "I am. Very." She was intrigued by the woman wearing her face-and even more by the schemes behind reaching out to Judie.

Leaning forward slightly, Hannah proposed, "Mr. Jones, care to step aside with me? I want to hear what she has to say to Judie."

Vincent didn't hesitate. "Happy to oblige."

Turning to Judie, Hannah instructed, "Set the meeting here. Mr. Jones and I will be behind a screen. Just talk to her as you normally would-act natural, like we're not here. Got it?"

Judie caught on quickly, nodding eagerly. "Yes, Ms. Scott!"

Judie grabbed her phone and typed a swift reply to the message.

Hannah leaned closer to Judie, her voice dropping to a serious whisper.′′One more thing-the person you'll meet might look very much like me. Be prepared. Don't show surprise. Just stay composed. Understand?"

Judie blinked, puzzled by the warning, but nodded firmly."Uh, okay! Don't worry, Ms. Scott, I'Hl keep my cool!"

Her curiosity was piqued. Very much alike? How close could the resemblance be? Twins, maybe?

Half an hour later, Erica strode into the private room.

Judie's eyes widened, her breath catching as she nearly gasped aloud. This woman looked exactly like Hannah!Hello, I'm Hannah Scott, head of Aurora Court Studio," Erica said.

Judie recoiled, stunned. Not only did this woman share Hannah's face, but she'd claimed her name too! What was going on?
