Chapter 174

"Who came up with this ridiculous rule?" Theodore Langley kicked the sofa violently, his eyes glued to the live stream on his phone.

Julian Langley gritted his teeth. "Are the producers out of their minds? They won't even approve family leave!"

He desperately wanted to rush back to Harvard University right now.

In the video Ethan Sullivan sent, Evelyn Laurent looked breathtakingly beautiful in her dance dress. Her graceful movements and radiant smile made his heart tremble.

"This is all your fault!" Theodore suddenly turned and glared at Julian. "If you hadn't dragged me into filming this stupid show, I could be there cheering for Evelyn right now!"

Even their eldest brother, who was abroad, had made a special trip back. Yet here they were, stuck in this lousy studio watching a live stream.

Julian was fuming, mentally cursing the production crew eight hundred times.

The two brothers alternated between watching the stream and ranting about the blurry footage. They looked like two lions with their hackles raised.

Meanwhile, in Harvard University's auditorium...

Alexander Langley sat in the VIP section with his three younger brothers and Ethan, their burning gazes fixed on the stage. The dean's speech buzzed in their ears like an annoying fly, completely ignored.

Five strikingly handsome men seated in a row drew frequent glances from the female students around them.

"Why are so many Langley men here this year?"

"I heard their youngest sister Evelyn is performing tonight."

"So lucky to have so many brothers doting on her..."

Whispers floated through the air.

Nearby, Sophia Lowell's roommate nudged her. "Sophia, your family's here. Aren't you going to say hello?"

Sophia clenched her fists, forcing a smile. "It's too formal an occasion. Not the right time."

Her gaze greedily swept over the Langley brothers, bitterness and longing twisting inside her.

These elite men should have been her brothers!

The stage lights suddenly dimmed.

Sophia's eyes gleamed, a cold smirk curling her lips.

The show was about to begin.

Ten graceful figures stepped onto the stage. Under the spotlight, Evelyn in her white dress looked like a moonlit fairy.

The music began.

The moment she moved into her first pose, the entire auditorium fell silent.

Everyone held their breath.
