Chapter 60
Ethan's face darkened instantly.
"Your monthly bonus is revoked."
Harrison's eyes widened in shock. "Mr. Sullivan! I apologize!"
He had only asked a polite question—why was he being penalized?
Ethan cut him off impatiently. "Get to the point."
Harrison straightened immediately. "The forum incident has been investigated, but the storm prevents us from apprehending the suspects at Harvard right now."
He hesitated before adding, "There's another matter... Professor Klein discovered what happened to Miss Laurent and spoke up on the forum. The students mocked him."
A dangerous glint flashed in Ethan's eyes.
Meanwhile, in Professor Klein's dorm...
"Outrageous!" The elderly professor slammed his fist on the table.
He had just created a forum account when he saw his prized student being viciously slandered.
Three other distinguished professors—including Dr. Ashford—rushed over to support him.
The four gray-haired academic titans now fumbled awkwardly with their phone screens.
"These insolent brats!" Dr. Ashford's hands trembled with anger.
For every reply they typed, dozens of mocking responses flooded in.
Thunder rumbled outside as the four professors sat grim-faced.
Finally, Professor Klein snapped. He called President Evans.
The startled university president answered groggily. "Professor? What's wrong?"
"Gregory Evans! How dare you allow this!" Professor Klein roared. "My protégé is being cyberbullied, and now your students are insulting us to our faces!"
President Evans jolted awake. "What?"
"Fix this! Now!" Professor Klein stomped his foot. "If my student leaves because of this, I'll hold you personally responsible!"
President Evans nearly dropped his phone.
The Physics Department's four most revered scholars—plus their genius protégé—were being attacked on the university's own forum?
This was unacceptable.
