Chapter 317

The prize wheel began to spin, marking the official start of the show.

The guests stepped forward one by one to draw their survival supplies.

Beatrice Quincy's team finished first, obtaining a flashlight, water bottle, lighter, and rope.

Crystal Rothschild's team followed closely, drawing a Swiss Army Knife, sleeping bag, shovel, and flashlight.

When it was Evelyn Laurent's turn, the wheel's pointer landed on a sleeping bag, iron pot, rope, and shovel.

"Perfect!" A sly glint flashed in Evelyn's eyes.

With these supplies plus her island survival kit, it was practically a dream start.

Even three months here wouldn't be a problem, let alone ten days.

The other two teams, however, looked troubled.

"Only one sleeping bag—how are we supposed to share?" someone in Crystal's team muttered under their breath.

Timothy Gold seized the moment to extend an olive branch. "Teams dissatisfied with their supplies can earn more resources by completing tasks."

Beatrice was the first to step forward. "I'll draw a mission card."

She elegantly pulled out a card and read aloud, "Find five types of wild island berries?"

"The island has a rich variety of edible wild berries," Timothy explained with a smile.

"Piece of cake." Beatrice confidently tossed her hair.

Back with her team, she asked for opinions. "Should we complete this together, or each draw our own tasks?"

Liam Croix adjusted his glasses. "I suggest everyone draws one task, then we divide the work."

Soon, all four members of Beatrice's team had drawn their mission cards.

Crystal's team also stepped forward to draw theirs.

Only Evelyn's team remained motionless.

Xander Quincy leaned lazily against a tree, his gaze occasionally drifting toward Bianca Fairchild.

Julian Langley and Ethan Sullivan both turned to look at Evelyn.

"Director Gold," Evelyn suddenly asked, "what's the ultimate goal of this episode?"

"Survive ten days and build a base." Timothy revealed three cards. "These are the base assignment cards."

Evelyn casually drew one—Base Three.

Beatrice got Base One, while Crystal received Base Two.

The three teams followed the crew to their respective territories.

The bases weren't far apart—each was an open area enclosed by a fence.

Backed by large trees with clear visibility, they had high safety ratings.

Evelyn scanned the surroundings, a smile curling her lips. "We don't need to do tasks."

She was already planning how to transform this space.

Here, she wouldn't just survive—she'd create her own paradise.
