Chapter 383

Hugo Rothschild grabbed Crystal Rothschild's wrist and strode away without looking back.

Rachel Clemenson stood frozen in place, her eyes instantly welling up with tears.

Large teardrops rolled down her cheeks. "They... they're so cruel..."

She covered her face and sobbed.

Leo Clemenson hurried over and wrapped an arm around his sister's shoulders. "Don't pay attention to trash like that!"

Crystal Rothschild was a rising starlet.

Who did Hugo Rothschild think he was?

A nobody daring to act so arrogantly?

Just wait until they got back—her fans would teach him a lesson.

A flash of malice flickered in Leo's eyes.

Neither of them noticed the live stream chat exploding with outrage.

[Is Rachel out of her mind? I used to think she was genuine, but now she’s just pathetic!]

[Disgusting! She’s been targeting Evelyn Laurent since the first episode!]

[What did Evelyn ever do to her? Can’t handle losing so she accuses others of cheating?]

[Get her off the show! I can’t stand her!]

The barrage of hate flooded the screen.

Evelyn Laurent stood nearby, having heard every word of their exchange.

Her gaze turned icy as she hoisted four massive trees and strode toward the Clemenson siblings.

"Did I hear something about cheating?"

Her cold voice made Rachel flinch.

Looking up, Rachel saw Evelyn standing before her, effortlessly holding four trees with one hand, her eyes sharp as blades.

Both siblings instinctively took a step back.

Leo forced a sneer. "Stop pretending. You think waving around props makes you impressive?"

Without a word, Evelyn released her grip.

BOOM—

The four trees slammed into the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust.

The deep drag marks left behind proved they were real.

"Pick them up," Evelyn said coolly.

Leo scoffed. "They’re just props. Anyone could lift them."

He moved to step forward, but Rachel yanked him back.

She smirked at Evelyn. "Cut the act. Do you really want us to expose you right here?"

"Idiots." Evelyn’s lips curled in disdain.

Rachel’s face flushed red with anger. She grabbed one of the ropes and yanked with all her strength.

The trees didn’t budge.

Her face drained of color.

These... were real?
