Chapter 298
The sea breeze gently brushed across the deck of the luxury yacht.
Bianca Fairchild and Beatrice Quincy stood side by side, their profiles dazzling under the sunlight.
Julian Langley leaned lazily against the railing while Evelyn Laurent stood beside him, curiously observing the other guests.
"Is that Crystal Rothschild?" Evelyn whispered.
Julian followed her gaze. The rising starlet Hugo Rothschild was tenderly fixing his sister's wind-tousled hair.
"And the Clemenson siblings," Julian pointed toward Rachel and Leo Clemenson, who were taking photos nearby.
The newly arrived Liam and Lucas Croix chatted with the crew. Both wore sportswear, radiating youthful energy.
"The director mentioned two mystery guests," Evelyn said, eyes sparkling. "Who could they be?"
Timothy Gold approached with a megaphone. "Everyone, please gather in the conference room."
Inside, Eugene York adjusted the equipment.
"These mystery guests are special," he said with a mysterious wink. "You'll find out when we reach the island."
Julian suddenly frowned. "This yacht..."
He felt an odd familiarity with the vessel but couldn't place it.
"What's wrong?" Timothy asked sharply.
"Nothing." Julian waved it off. "Since when did the production team become so extravagant?"
Timothy cleared his throat. "A guest sponsored it."
His evasive tone hinted at hidden truths.
As the yacht departed, the live broadcast began.
Eugene collected everyone's phones. "This season's theme is—Survival Challenge!"
Evelyn clenched her fists in excitement while the others exchanged uneasy glances.
"Don't worry, we've scouted the location," Eugene reassured. "The island is safe with abundant resources."
Crystal bit her lip. "Are we really staying there?"
"Of course," Eugene said. "But basic supplies will be provided."
Leo suddenly raised his hand. "Director, will the mystery guests join us?"
Eugene smirked. "They're already on the island."
The yacht cut through the waves toward the unknown destination. No one noticed Julian's increasingly grave expression as he stared at the horizon.
Something told him this wouldn't be a simple filming.
