Chapter 320
Golden sunlight bathed the beach as gentle waves lapped at the shore. Evelyn Laurent and Julian Langley bent over, collecting seafood left behind by the receding tide. Their plastic bucket already held several crabs and shells.
Light footsteps approached from a distance.
Beatrice Quincy and Bianca Fairchild walked over, carrying the small red buckets provided by the production crew. Beatrice's eyes immediately landed on Julian's tall, straight-backed figure.
"Julian!" Her face lit up as she hurried forward.
Julian turned at the sound of her voice, instinctively hiding the pot filled with seafood behind him.
"You've gathered quite a haul," Beatrice remarked, her gaze lingering on the pot with a flicker of longing.
"This belongs to me and Evelyn," Julian replied coolly, taking a step closer to Evelyn.
Beatrice's smile froze. Her fingers tightened around the bucket handle.
"Of course I wouldn't take what's yours," she forced out, her voice trembling slightly.
Julian didn't respond, turning back to Evelyn, who was still gathering shells.
The cameras caught Beatrice's reddened eyes as she whispered to herself, "You can do this, Beatrice. Keep going."
[My heart aches for Beatrice! Julian is so cold to her.]
[Did Evelyn say something behind the scenes?]
[Wake up! Julian clearly doesn't want anything to do with Beatrice.]

Suddenly, a bold message flashed across the livestream:
[Evelyn Laurent is the legitimate seventh daughter of the Langley family. Watch your words.]
The chat fell silent for a few seconds.
[Beatrice is the Quincy family's eldest daughter too!]
[Exactly! She's pursued Julian for so long. How can he treat her like this?]
On the beach, Beatrice took a deep breath and turned toward a rocky area. She crouched down, pretending to search for seafood, but her nails dug deep into her palms.
