Chapter 442
Julian Langley didn't even spare her a glance as he strode past.
Timothy Gold rushed over in a panic. "Is everyone alright?"
His gaze flickered over Julian before landing on Evelyn Laurent and Hugo Rothschild.
His expression suddenly darkened.
"Where's Ethan Sullivan?"
The show's golden goose was missing.
Where had their sugar daddy gone?
The next second, his eyes locked onto the stretcher being unloaded from the ambulance.
Timothy gasped.
He stared at Ethan on the stretcher, voice trembling. "What...what happened?"
Ethan had been perfectly fine when they cut the live stream.
How could things change so drastically in such a short time?
Julian gripped Timothy's shoulder. "Keep your mouth shut."
Timothy's heart pounded wildly. "Mr. Sullivan...he..."
"He'll live." Julian's tone was flat.
Timothy exhaled shakily but still tugged at his hair in frustration.
He'd done more hair-pulling today than in the past year combined.
At this rate, he'd go bald.
But aside from tearing at his scalp, he had no other way to relieve the stress.
This was supposed to be a simple reality show.
Why did it feel like navigating an obstacle course with endless hurdles?
The worst part?
Financial losses were the least of his worries.
If anything happened to Ethan...
He didn't dare finish the thought.
The other guests exchanged uneasy glances.
The production team soon issued a statement, arranging for everyone's evacuation.
All expenses would be covered by the show.
Though many had been injured during the pirate confrontation, most wounds weren't serious.
Ethan's condition was the most critical, followed by Xander Quincy, then Hugo.
Hugo had brought that on himself.
Once Ethan's vitals stabilized, Julian chartered a private jet to return Ethan, Xander, and the others to Cambridge.
Beatrice Quincy and Bianca Fairchild were forced to accompany them.
Though reluctant, Julian and Evelyn had no choice.
Bianca retreated into silence again, fidgeting nervously.
When she retrieved her phone, one message stood out:
Grandma's missing!
No one knew who took her or where she'd gone.
Strangely, Bianca felt no panic—only a flicker of hope.
Had the Langley family rescued Grandma?
If so...
She might finally escape the Quincy hellhole.
The thought of returning with Beatrice terrified her.
The way Beatrice had stared at her on the ship sent chills down her spine.
That lunatic was definitely saving up rage to unleash on her.
Bianca's anxiety spiked.
Then a cool hand gently clasped hers.
Evelyn's touch was like a clear spring, soothing her frayed nerves.
"Don't be afraid," Evelyn whispered. "Everything will be alright."
