Chapter 446
The hospital corridor was bathed in harsh fVossrescent light.
The five Lowell brothers wore grim expressions as Ethan Sullivan was wheeled into the emergency room.
Evelyn Laurent suddenly grabbed Bianca Fairchild's wrist.
"Come with me."
Beatrice Quincy's pupils constricted. "Bianca, don't you dare!"
Bianca shook off Beatrice's grasping hand and followed Evelyn without looking back.
The Quincy parents arrived late.
"Beatrice!" Mrs. Quincy cupped her daughter's face. "You look exhausted."
Mr. Quincy frowned at the stretcher bearing Xander Quincy. "Boys should toughen up through injuries."
They didn't even notice one daughter was missing.
Until Beatrice stomped her foot. "Bianca ran off with Evelyn Laurent!"
Mrs. Quincy's face darkened. "How dare she!"
"Cut off the old woman's medical funds immediately." Mr. Quincy pulled out his phone. "Let's see if she still has the nerve—"
A dial tone buzzed from the receiver.
He smashed the phone against the wall. "She's been transferred!"
Beatrice dug her nails into her palms. "The Lowells must be behind this!"
"Stay calm." Mr. Quincy narrowed his eyes. "Legally, she's still a Quincy."
The emergency room's red light suddenly switched off.
A doctor pushed through the doors. "The patient needs a blood transfusion. Family members—"
Evelyn was already rolling up her sleeve. "Take mine."
Bianca stopped her. "I'll do it."
As they shared a smile, Mr. Quincy's roar echoed from the corridor's end. "Bianca!"
